Ashfield Village is a 10 yr old Connemara Stallion by European Gold Medal sire Ashfield Bobby Sparrow.  Ashfield Village was graded by the SPSS in October 2004.  Since then he has been successfully Show Jumping and has 430 SJAI points as well as being a BSJA Silver Disk Stallion.

In 2007, Ashfield Village was ridden by James Brennan and they qualified for the Belfast International Show in October 2007 where he was placed 2nd overall in the 148cm Grand Prix. 

Ashfield Village and James then competed internationally at the end of November 2007 at Neeroeteren Belgium in the Grand Prix where he was best of the Irish and on 2nd December at CSIJ/Y/P HENGELO where he was 10th in the jump off in the Hengelo Grand Prix. 

In recognition of these International results, Ashfield Village has been awarded ELITE stauts by the SPSS.

Village had his first crop of foals on the ground in 2007.
