Sire:  It's Without Doubt was bred by Brendon Stud as a competition sire and combines the classic eventing lines of his sire, the Advanced Eventer, Welton Louis (sire of 1995 European Champion Welton Romance), with those of his damsire, the legendary Ben Faerie.  His dam, Doubtless is the full sister of the 4* Eventer, Priceless, who was ridden by Ginny Elliot (then Ginny Holgate) and won eight medals at international championships: four team gold medals (1981 and 1985 European Championships and the 1982 and 1986 World Championships), one team silver (1984 Olympic Games), two individual gold medals (1985 European Championships and 1986 World Championships) and one individual bronze (1984 Olympic Games).

Dam:  Ashford Cleave Dads' Delight is 3/4 TB, 1/4 Irish Draft out of the TB/ID Ashford Cleave Colleen.  She competed at dressage, show jumping and Affiliated eventing at the age of 5yr, competing up to novice level within a few events, but unfortunately the following season at the age of 6yrs  an injury that she had to her left eye as a 2yr old then resulted in partial sight, making it difficult for her to judge fences and hence she was retired and put in foal to Mayhill

Damsire:  Mayhill, a New Zealand bred Thoroughbred who was registered with Weatherby's as Fair Oak, was the sire of many eventers, including Mayhem III (5th at Pau 4* in 2008 and 8th at Badminton in 2009, both times ridden by Ruth Edge).

Performance

As a three year old, Phenomenal was presented at the BEF Futurity Evaluation at Tall Trees, where he received a First Premium and was Reserve High Score in the Eventing section.

In 2010, as a four year old, Phenomenal was brought on quietly, winning and being placed at local dressage.  Due to his rider's injury in 2011, he had a year off but it is expected that he will be competing in dressage show jumping and One Day Events in 2012.

Offspring/Breeding Advice
