Sire: 

Bernwode Brokat is a fantastic Gold medal winning dressage pony and proven producer of top performance ponies. He was born in Germany where he was graded with Weser-Ems. Here he has “Life Graded” status with SPSS and was the 2009 & 2010 Futurity “Leading UK Sire of Sports Ponies”. Brokat was awarded the SPSS’s prestigious “Dancer Medal” in 2009.

Dam: 

Evelina -S was born in Holland and is graded with NRPS, Weser-Ems and SPSS. She is an outstanding broodmare consistently producing top quality foals. As well as her graded son, she is also dam of the 2008 Futurity Highest marked Sport Pony yearling and in 2009 her yearling son gained a coveted ELITE premium. Evelina is the Futurity “Leading UK Dam of Sports Ponies”.

Damsire: 

Prins Alfred is a part bred Arabian and recognized in Holland as a brilliant sport pony producer. He competed in both Show Jumping and Dressage and has sired many Champions and Keur & Ster daughters.

Bernwode Benedict – aka Becks – was the first UK bred, born and SPSS registered stallion to be graded. He is very trainable with very nice movement as well as a good jump.  Due to lack of rider, he has had limited opportunities to compete. Despite this, with rider Meagan Pankhurst, Becks scored a fantastic 72.8% in his third competition class (Prelim 12) and has qualified for the South West Hartpury Championship in 2012.

Becks is a very easygoing pony with brilliant attitude; although his main purpose at Hartpury is to be a stallion, he happily hacks out with any horse. With both his Sire and Dam being proved to be the very best in UK, Becks carries nothing but genuine top performance blood in his genes.

Bernwode Benedict’s first foals were born in 2010 and look very promising being very much stamped by their sire’s looks. One of these foals, Hartpury Rockstar, scored 18/20 for Athleticism at his Futurity Evaluation. We believe he is a good match for most pony mares, especially those that need improvement of temperament, movement and jumping technique. He is also perfect for smaller sport horse mares to breed quality sport ponies of the ideal size for the international market.
