The great majority of Talisman's stock prove themselves as performance ponies including Champion Show Jumpers, Working Hunters, Show Hunters, Dressage, Cross Country, Trails and Event Ponies.  Talisman and his progeny are renowned for their intelligence, kindliness, courage and jumping ability.  He is extremely tough with superb musculature, limbs and feet.

Alice Bradley (pictured on Talisman), has competed with him since she was eleven and they have won or been placed in One Day Events, Show Jumping, Working Hunter Pony, Dressage and Pony Club Competitions.

Talisman died in 2005 at the age of 33.
