This graded warmblood sports pony stallion has impeccable breeding with Downland bloodlines on both sides. He received top grading of the day in Holland in 2006 when he was described as an excellent shining example of a sports pony with outstanding walk, trot and jump. Sire: Aester El Nino is by Bjirmen’s Wytse, a NWPCS Studbook Approved Stallion who sired other approved. Stallions and a number of successful broodmares. Wytse won numerous International and National prizes both as a showjumper and as a dressage pony, including a bronze team medal with the British team at the Pony European Dressage Championships. He was awarded both a ‘sport’ premium (for success in competition) and a ‘preferent’ premium (for success as a sire)

 

Dam: Kleef’s Sabine is a part-bred Welsh mare who has been awarded the ‘keur’ predicate by the NWPCS. She is out of the part Arab Kleef’s Remona.

 

Damsire: Flora’s Hof Magic has been awarded a ‘sport’ premium and is by Vita Nova’s Golden Boris, a son of the renowned part-bred Welsh riding pony Downland Folklore who, as the sire of many graded stallions, is a key influence in modern Sports Pony breeding and was posthumously declared an Elite stallion in the Netherlands.

Performance

Jamai spent just over a year with 15 year old Annie Lloyd-Aylett and regularly won or was placed in Novice (often scoring over 70%), Elementary & Medium tests.They also qualified for the 2011 Novice Open Regional Championships. He is now working at FEI level. He is also showing exceptional jumping talent with amazing technique over fences and a very bold attitude. He has a superb temperament and is a delight to handle and ride.

Jamai’s son Empire, who was sired and born in Holland, was named Pony Stallion Champion at 2012 NRPS Stallion Licensing. In the UK all his progeny presented at the BEF Futurity have gained at least a 1st premium and a yearling filly gained a Higher first.
