Origins:

Indien de Here is a French bred Anglo Arab stallion (45.47% Arab). His bloodline includes foundation sires for producing show jumpers and eventers such as Nithard & Pancho II. See French National stud web-site www.harasire.net for more information.

Sire: Osier du Maury (AA) was a dark bay French National stallion from 1995 who sired numerous talented show jumpers. His own sire is the international show jumper Jalienny and his dam comes from a top motherline.

Dam: Indien de Here comes from an exceptional motherline. His mother Laurentides, a bay AA, was an international show jumper, reaching a career high performance index for jumping of +156 in 1988 and a genetic index for jumping of +11 (68% reliability)*. His sister Carole de Here also jumped successfully at the 1m45 level. A sister of his mother, Giralda, jumped in Nations Cups for the French team. This very old Anglo- Arabian motherline has produced a lot of top jumpers

Damsire: Faritchou (AA) was a French National stallion from 1976 to 1994 and the sire of CSI and CCI horses. He was the brother of GARITCHOU father of OPALINE DES PINS (mother of JUS DEPOMME Gold Medal in Atltanta, SHOGUN II CSIO, RICHERBOURG CSIO, QUINTUS CSIO), ROYALTIE DU BEC (mother of Allah Jabek whomade big impression in the 2008 Olympics), TAJ MAHAL (mother of Andiamo Z CSIO with Lansink).

* See note below in Offspring/breeding advice

Offspring/breeding advice:

Stunning bay with a classic jumping style and a superb temperament. A fearless pony able to jump the largest, most technical courses, and a superb water jumper. His first foal, Maelstrom, is the first daughter of Hall of Fame show jumping legend, Colton Maelstrom.

French ratings (see note below):

ISO (Jumping) +141 (2002)

BSO (Jumping) +12 (58%)

BCC (Eventing) +4 (23%)

Note: A good sports horse is expected to have a performance index (ISO) of +115 or better. BSO and BCC are the genetic indexes for jumpers and eventers respectively. Only the top 1.4% of French show jumpers achieve an ISO of 140 or better. Most horses will improve their ISO during their career; however, Indie’s ISO rating of 141 has not been updated since he left France at age 6 (in 2002) so excludes his British successes!!
