Manitu N has had an exceptional career as a dressage pony, culminating in his being selected as the 2006 KBIS British Equestrian Dressage Horse of the Year.  Bred in Germany, Manitu was the 4 year old Danish Riding Pony Champion then went on to win a team silver medal for Denmark in the 1998 European Pony Championships.  After having been imported to the UK, Manitu took pony riders Maria Eilberg, Lorna Edmonds and Samantha Harrison to successive European Pony Championships resulting in the outstanding record of team silver medals in 1999 and 2000 followed by six successive team bronze medals (2001 to 2006)

 

Manitu N was formally retired with the ceremonial removal of his saddle in the main arena at Olympia 2006.
