Rughavens Jackpot  (known as JJ) is a chestnut leopard spotted Knabstrupper stallion who has the lovely temperament for which this breed is renowned as well as amazing paces and trainability.  He was imported into the UK in Oct 2005 as a 3 year old and has been backed and brought on by Claire Knowles. 

This proven competition stallion has many successes in the dressage arena. He has wins up to medium level in excess of 67%. In just two outings JJ has qualified for the summer 2009 BD Elementary Regionals and has won his first medium of this season, leaving him half qualified at that level. This summer will also see JJ attending BYRDS training with a 13 year old, where he has already made an impression with his fantastic attitude and ability.

Rughavens Jackpot simply loves to work and is a pleasure to handle and train. He will happily work alongside other horses and is proving to be a fantastic ambassador for this rare breed. He has a very kind nature and is regularly handled by children.
