Sire: 

Gorsfraith Brenin is a Welsh Sec D who was Champion at his SPSS Stallion Grading in 2003, leading BEF Pony Sire in 2006 & 2007 and sired BEF Futurity High 1st Premiums Winners. In 2007, Brenin was awarded the first SPSS Dancer Medal.

Brenin’s sire, Clyngim Deryn Du, was successfully shown in hand & produced many show winners. His grandsire Derwen Replica competed very successfully under saddle and is the sire of the international champion sire Wishaw Revelation.

Brenin’s dam, Estow Bernadette, comes from a very successful female line of show cobs and was herself shown successfully under saddle and produced show winning progeny. Her sire, Cippyn Rhodri, was shown successfully in hand and in harness. Through his outstanding sire Derwen Rosina’s Last and grandsire Nebo Black Magic he is closely related to many top winners in hand, ridden and in sport including the well-known SHBGB–graded sire of show jumpers & dressage horses Derwen Red Marvel.

Dam: 

Trevoulter Silver Jewel is part-bred Quarter Horse x NPS carrying the top class bloodlines of Side Hill the famous Quarter Horse stallion. Unfortunately she was bred in the days when recording the breeding of sports and competition ponies was not considered important so she does not have the papers to prove her breeding but she and her dam before her have been in the Pluess family all their lives so her parentage is known even if not officially recorded and they are in no small part the reason why the Trevoulter Barton Stud was founded.

Jewel is a Graded Sports Pony mare and a prolific winner in showing classes. She has a superb trainable temperament and correct conformation which she passes on to her offspring. She has proved to be a top class broodmare with her progeny competing in affiliated disciplines and all of them ridden and (more importantly) trained by junior riders.
