Celebration has the most wonderful temperament - he was successfully produced for SPSS grading in 2023 by his 13 year old rider, Petrina Evans Jones.
As a registered & licensed Welsh Section B, he makes the ideal choice to breed pure Section Bs and also as a cross to breed performance ponies. His progeny have been SPSS evaluated and awarded GOLD Premiums and are Royal Welsh and Welsh National Show winners.

Cadlanavalley Celebration has been bred from some of the very best & influential Sec B bloodlines in the UK, if not Europe. His pedigree combines a cocktail of top names including numerous HOYS and RIIHS winners and finalists.
Sire: Cadlanvalley Rio, who as a yearling was Supreme Overall Champion at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair & Welsh Pony & Cob Medal winner. He also took many championships whilst been shown in hand. Rio had a relatively short but successful career under saddle in the UK. However, before really being able to show off his full potential under saddle in the UK, he was exported to the USA and continued his career there. He has limited stock on the ground, making this bloodline even more sought after. Rio's daughter Cadlanvalley Domino, qualified for Horse of the Year Show, M&M First Ridden.
Rio's sire, Cadlanavally Buzby, surely must be one of the most famous and influential Sec B stallions of recent times. He has had the most outstanding career under saddle with the majority of success with a young rider. As well as many other successes Buzby was Horse of the Year Show Ridden Champion, Royal Welsh Ridden Champion, Best of Breed and Reserve Supreme Champion at Olympia. Buzby has proven himself to be a good sire of performers, with Cadlanvalley Savannah taking R Champion Open WHP at the Royal Welsh.
Dam: Waxwing Princess Royal, really is bred in the purple. Names in her bloodlines include, Downland, Abercrychan, Keston, Wingrove, Moelview, Llangeitho, to mention a few of the much-respected names. Waxwing Princess Royal commanded top price when sold through the sales rings as a foal. She then went on to win the Royal Welsh twice, an excellent achievement in the very few times she was shown. Princess Royal produced many a Royal Welsh winner. As well as Cadlanvalley Royal Celebration, Waxwing Princess Royal's progeny includes: Cadlanvalley Masterclass and two full sisters to Masterclass - Cadlanvalley Miss Prim & Cadlanvalley Penny Royal Prim, who is a Royal Welsh winner. Both these mares have been retained by Cadlanvalley Stud and are producing very successful stock
Damsire: Moelview Mohawk is another a multi champion Sec B and a prolific producer of successful Welsh ponies.

Celebration was born in 2016 and joined Blaenllain Stud in the summer of 2020. Due to COVID and other non-horse related challenges, 2023 was Celebration’s debut season under saddle and he most definitely didn’t disappoint.
Celebration started the season by being trained and presented for the SPSS Grading by his 13 year old rider. This young stallion then went on to have a busy season, combining his stud duties, with competing in showjumping and dressage, as well as being a kid’s pony. Combining this with our limited training facilities this has proved how outstanding his trainability, talent and excellent temperament are. When showjumping he has proven to have a good clean technique, brave, careful and quick against the clock. In dressage, he has proven his rideability and quality paces.

Champion as well as Winning yearling at the National Welsh His yearling was also selected to represent the Part Bred for the young judges to assess at the National Welsh Show. 2023, foal being placed 2nd in Royal Welsh and Welsh Nationals.
