Shingle Hall Senator is homebred by Carnaval Drum (fully approved AES(Elite), graded BWBS) out of Handley Barns Babe (graded mare SHB(GB)), being licensed with SPSS and also on the Weatherbys non TB register.

Shingle Hall Senator has been brought on slowly and has been successful in all disciplines with many wins to his name from showing to show jumping.   He is pictured at the National Hunter Show 2005 (above) and the Winter Novice qualifier (left) earlier this year.  In 2006 he will engage upon his competitive career in earnest around his stud duties.

Shingle Hall Senator is a well proportioned stallion and is stamping his stock with his excellent conformation and superb temperament and his progeny are already winning in the show ring.  He currently has a handful of progeny to his name out of a broad selection of mares, ranging from the traditional cob to the classic Thoroughbred/Irish Draft cross and, without exception, the owners are extremely pleased with his offspring.  Pictured below is a two year old colt out of a Welton mare.

Shingle Hall Senator is by Carnaval Drum, the top BHD sire, who produced the first ever British bred World Champion, Carnavelly, whose outstanding performance ensures he is the only horse ever to have won the German Classic at Brehem and the Berlin Grand Prix in 1988.  In 2001 his achievements continued by winning the Hickstead Derby Trial, and at Olympia winning the World Cup Qualifier.  The 1999 Festival of Show Jumping saw Carnaval Drum's progeny become the highest placed British bred 5 and 6 year olds in their classes.  On the dam's side we have the prolific sire Dallas who has sired many championship show winning stock.  His progeny include Hello Oscar, Hello Feliz, Dexter The Fourth, Handley Barns Grandee to name but a few.
