Willowsway Top of the Rock has an impressive pedigree with some of the best proven lines from Europe.

Sire:

Freckleton Royal Affair has an impressive pedigree with some of the best proven lines from Europe. His Dam has many successful competition horses with success in eventing and dressage in her pedigree. His Sire, Copilot, has equally impressive blood lines with a long history of proven success in all spheres of eventing, dressage and jumping. Copilot himself having much success in the show ring before an early end to his ridden career due to an accident has gone on to sire many successful progeny including the NNP HOYS winner 2015 Flying Solo.

Freckleton Royal Affair is already proving himself in the show ring, winning nearly all of his classes to date. His breeding speaks for itself, and there is no doubt this young stallion has a very exciting future head of him. He has a proven record as a stallion with his first crop of foals on the ground in 2019. His colt Willowsway Royal Revelation stood SHP Champion at the British National Foal Show 2019 and his colt Willowsway Private Party stood Reserve Sports Horse Champion and Reserve Hack Champion at the same show. Another son (Willowsway Code Of Confidence) stood Reserve Coloured Champion at Great Yorkshire Show 2021 and his 2020 Filly (Willowsway Love Affair) was Winner and Reserve Champion Sports, and Reserve Champion coloured at Royal Welsh Winter Fair 2021, also standing Reserve Supreme at NCPA Lancs Winter Show 2021.

He consistently puts fantastic stock on the ground, and all his foals inherit his incredible off the floor movement. In 2020 he produced two fabulous homozygous colts. One of which we have retained and the other sold to a competition home to eventually stand at stud in Ireland.

Freckleton Royal Affair's dam, Freckleton Moneypenny, is a 2006 WBS-UK registered 17.2 hh fabulous upstanding mare with lots of presence and wonderful movement. She has a fabulous dam line and is full sister to many successful competition horses including -

Freckleton Magic - intermediate eventer

Freckleton Marygate - Royal Show Reserve Champion Warmblood. Competed in dressage to Medium level under rider Kate Lewis, invited to join the Olympic Pathway scheme.

Freckleton Mythago - hugely talented young eventer, Best British Bred 5yr old Eventer 2012 and leading point scorer.

Freckleton Montoya - Winner of his first Burghley young event horse qualifier, showing real promise.

Freckleton Monte Cassino - Graded stallion WBS-UK now broken and started training with Matt Heath.

Freckleton Royal Affair's sire, Copilot, is a 2007 KWPN registered, 16.1hh modern stallion with correct conformation, a fantastic pedigree and fabulous off the floor paces. He has a truly impressive showing record and made history by being the youngest ever winner of the supreme in-hand title at the British Skewbald and Piebald Association's national championships.  He has gained three 1st Premiums with the Scottish Sport Horse, Chaps & BSPA and was the highest scoring youngster at both his Chaps and BSPA Evaluations. He has some of the best lines from Europe in his pedigree and it would be fair to say he is one of a very few with these lines.

Copilot's damsire is Samber, the Grand Prix dressage and show jumping stallion who is sire to over 1500 progeny with 50% being coloured. He produced versatile offspring succeeding in all Olympic disciplines and remains the only coloured stallion to have been approved with the K.W.P.N. – at present. His pedigree also includes Charleston Esquire, Holland, Samson, and Monte Carlo, combining many stallions from the world’s leading studbooks.

Dam:

Private Asperation has many successful competition horses within her breeding lines, with success in eventing and show jumping.

Damsire:

Greenbank Harlequin being an advanced eventer, also showing success in show jumping winning the 1.20m Show Jumping at Hickstead.

Performance

Rocco, as he is known at home, more than excelled in his first year competing in hand, being unbeaten in his Non-Native Coloured classes.

Winning at Royal Cheshire Show and Great Yorkshire Show, also securing the coloured championship at this prestigious show. Rocco also took Reserve Supreme Of Show at Thompson House Spring Show, as well as taking Reserve Supreme In hand at CHAPS Northeast Regional qualifying for King Of The Ring Finals.

Rocco finished his first season gaining first premium at his young-stock evaluations gaining near perfect scores, and fabulous comments from graders.

Rocco was successful at his SPSS grading in May 2023.

Offspring/Breeding Advice
Rocco is an exciting young prospect for 2023. His breeding, outstanding conformation combined with his fabulous temperament make him a wonderful choice for a variety of mares.
